| Oneida Tribe Resident Care Facility |
| The Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin recognized the power of the sun and included a solar domestic water heating system in the design of their newly constructed Anna John Resident Centered Care Community. The solar water heater provides the residents and staff with heated domestic water for meal preparation, laundry, showers, rest rooms, etc. In addition to serving meals for the residents, the facility also providing meal preparation for Tribal community outreach programs. The solar system features 48 collectors which will heat 2,000 gallons of domestic water in insulated storage tanks on a sunny day. The system is anticpated to provide just over 50% of the projected hot water demand.
